Meet Glen Miller
Glen grew up in a family business, learning firsthand what it takes to build, run, and grow a company. From an early age, he worked on the factory floor of his family's metal finishing company and managed operations at the family's hotel during summers — gaining valuable hands-on experience in both leadership and operations.
Over the years, Glen launched several successful ventures, including developing a nationally distributed frozen food line and opening a unique restaurant and nightclub concept. Each new project taught him critical lessons about systems, financial controls, team building, and the importance of adapting to the challenges every business faces.
Returning to the family metal finishing business, Glen worked with major Fortune 500 clients like General Motors, Ford, Motorola, and Ericsson. As a Tier 1 supplier, Glen and his team met the highest industry standards — sharpening his focus on quality systems, KPIs, and operational excellence. His late father instilled in him a timeless principle: “You must always know your numbers.”
After eventually selling the family business, Glen transitioned into executive business coaching. Rather than joining a large international firm, he chose a more personalized path — partnering with a boutique coaching firm where he mastered the Outcome Oriented Management system. Combining this powerful framework with his extensive real-world experience and advanced Sandler Sales Training, Glen founded Peak Performance Management.
Today, Glen works closely with business owners and leadership teams across a wide range of industries — from various types of contractors, including custom home builder, basement waterproofing and foundation repair, to high-end Outdoor living and landscaping, to a pest control company to a large midwestern grocery wholesale distributor. To relatively new businesses, to franchise based, to family businesses transitioning into 4th generations. Regardless of the industry or age, Glen believes the core principles of business remain the same: build a great team, sell your value, know your numbers, and stay relentlessly focused on improvement.
Glen’s passion is helping businesses become Best in Class in their industries — guiding owners and teams to overcome challenges, create stronger systems, and achieve sustainable growth.

Glen’s Personal Life
Glen met his wife Melinda back in eighth grade, and the two began dating in high school. They married shortly after college and have built a life centered around family, faith, and shared values. Together, they have four children and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren.
Their family isn’t spread out too far apart and spend a lot of quality time all together, with one daughter living in Evansville, Indiana, and the other three children calling Nashville, Tennessee home — a city Glen and Melinda now visit often.
Outside of coaching and business, Glen is a passionate sports fan. He roots for his beloved Green Bay Packers in the fall and cheers on the St. Louis Cardinals in the spring and summer. To Glen, sports aren’t just entertainment — they reflect many of the same principles found in successful businesses: teamwork, discipline, strategy, leadership, and accountability.
His love for both business and sports comes from the same place — a deep respect for people working together toward a common goal, striving to be their best, and never backing down from a challenge.
Empowering Business Owners to Lead with Clarity and Confidence
I'm passionate about helping small to mid-sized business owners who are masters of their craft but need a seasoned partner to navigate the complexities of modern business. I specialize in working closely with leaders to help them grow into the best version of themselves—equipped, self-aware, and prepared for the fast-paced demands of today's professional world.
With a natural curiosity about what drives people and a deep commitment to active listening, I bring valuable insight to executive coaching and team development. My approach encourages leaders to step outside their habitual patterns, expand their thinking, and unlock new possibilities in how they lead.
My core strengths lie in leadership assessment and development, executive and team coaching, organizational culture analysis, and facilitating growth and change across businesses. I particularly enjoy working with business owners and their teams to demystify the numbers—whether it’s understanding profit and loss statements or identifying key performance indicators (KPIs). Together, we determine the metrics that matter most and align them with strategic goals to drive performance, financial health, and operational excellence.
While I’m not an accountant (and happily leave that work to those Professionals), I know how to translate financial data into actionable insights. This empowers leaders to make informed decisions and steer their businesses toward sustainable success.
When everyone in the organization understands what success looks like—and how to measure it—real progress happens.
